You’ll learn about Victoria’s rich and impressive history as a First Nation Village, and discover Canada’s humble beginnings as a resource-rich settlement that became a country inhabited by many cultures from around the world.

The Gardens City of the West Coast

Victoria is ripe with the natural beauty that comes with the west coast of Canada. Historic architecture, peaceful gardens, and delicious eateries will leave you entertained and satiated. On your free city walking tour, your guide will advise you how best to enjoy Victoria and Canada with recommendations for food, entertainment, daytrips, nightlife, nature, and more. Must-do experiences can also be booked through your guide at a discount, and if you want to explore the depths of the area, you can spend more time with the Free Walking Tour team on our Street Art & Craft Beer Tour.  This tour will take you to the less traveled area of Victoria at Rock Bay where you can take in the local craft breweries on a brewery tour and tasting, while admiring the vibrant street art murals along the way.
